WHAT WORD DO YOU SEE?
I found this interesting thing in an LA Times article earlier this week.
Look at the two words below each with a letter or two missing and think of what word it could be. Then click on the "Comments" section below to see the interesting part about the words you came up with:
BE_A_E
LO_AL

Research has shown that men are more likely to cheat when confronted with a flirty woman while women are more likely to reinforce their emotional fortress and fight for their relationship. That's why when most men saw BE_A_E they were likely to write BECAME whereas women wrote BEWARE. Likewise, when men saw LO_AL, they saw LOCAL while women wrote LOYAL.
I immediately saw BECAME and LOCAL while Karena saw BEWARE and LOYAL. I don't think it means I'm going to cheat (and I'm not really show this supports the research), but I did find it interesting.

First response was "because" even though there are only two missing letters...just because. The second, I got "local" and after that I thought "Well it could be loyal too."
My initial reaction was BEAGLE!
Then I got stuck so I skipped below and found LOYAL. After convincing myself that beagle, and yes, BAGEL also, were incorrect, I came up with BERATE. I think it fits...
