Ah...maybe someone should have explained to you that the "state" is actually referring to the government. Or that American Idol is not the government.
 

Hey that was cool... but they changed Jesus to Shepherd. Guess people get uptight when we mention Jesus. :P

Well, it seems that singing songs about God is okay, but it's not okay to talk about Him.

apparently, they changed the "Shepherd" back to "Jesus" the night after b/c people complained about it.Also there's an ongoing dialogue about how they think that the producers were just trying to get the attention of Christians so they can get more money...but whatever the motive was, hopefully God is still praised.
