HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND BLACK FRIDAY!
I hope all of you have a happy Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Play football, eat a lot, have some good conversations, and be thankful! I said something during the congregational prayer that I truly believe: Whether things are going our way or not right now, we have plenty to be thankful for.
And for those of you still willing to wake up early to brave the lines and cold weather on Black Friday (or at least sit in front of your computer to buy things online), check out all the Black Friday Ads here: bpads.net Thanks to Nathan Cheung for passing this link on.

Random silly questions:

When did the term "Black Friday" start?

With their Thanksgiving Day in October, how do Canadians know when to start shopping for Christmas?

ust 'cause I know how much Eunice likes Wikipedia's reliability:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Friday_%28shopping%29

1st question: Black Friday started from the heavy traffic as well as the shoppers waiting in the black.

2nd question: They don't - they buy everything online. (I made that up). But surely the mountain rangers should have their gift shops open all year....

Happy Thanksgiving Victor and to everyone reading the blog!!
