LOTTERY WINNERS
I didn't think too much about the Mega Lottery's $315 million jackpot yesterday until one of my patients mentioned it. Still, the thought of having a one in a billion chance of winning didn't coerce me enough to buy a ticket.
But today, after I found out the winning ticket had been purchased by seven Kaiser employees in Orange County, I went nuts. That could have been us. Why couldn't the Kaiser employees come from the West LA facility?
Oh well. Back to work . . .
