LAS VEGAS RECAP
I don't think I've gotten a decent night of sleep since before Raymond's wedding last month. And the sleep deprivation continued.
After having dinner in Monrovia with Jason & Debbie, Richard & Danette, and Michael & Cindy, we stayed up late Thursday night to pack. Friday night, we accompanied Steven and Liz to Las Vegas where we met up with Enoch, Reuel, Tiffany, Simon & Vanessa, and Luong.
The weekend was spent eating buffet and prime rib from Karena's favorite place (read: 32oz prime rib with salad, potato, veggies for $25).
We checked out the new Wynn casino where we met up with K's uncle, who is the manager of the watch/jewelry store there. I was embarassed to be wearing my $55 Fossil watch while he was showing us $250,000 Breitling watches.
Afterward, I got to see the Fremont Light Experience (we stayed in downtown, as usual) for the first time. It was boring.
I was up nearly $200, but ended up just breaking even after a brutal Sunday morning round of craps. Oh well, it's all good.
We came back tired and exhausted. And usually I'd have Tuesday to sleep in since it's my day off. But I'll be working overtime on Tuesdays for the next 6 weeks. So, no rest for the weary.
Zzzzzzz ............
