VALENTINE'S DINNER
We didn't decide whether we wanted to go out to dinner for Valentine's Day until last week. That severely limited our choices. Finally, we decided to try a place in Beverly Hills that Karena wanted to go to called Porterhouse Bistro.
We ordered off their "Famous Prix Fixe Menu" making the food was very reasonably priced for dinner in Beverly Hills, considering the amount of food. We ate like royalty -- appetizers, wine, entree, sides, and dessert with coffee.
But because we didn't call until just last week, the earliest reservation they could give us was 9:30pm. But, as sad as this sounds, that actually worked out perfectly. See, I've been leaving work closer to 7pm (an hour after I'm supposed to) because it's been so busy and Karena has been leaving closer to 8:30pm (about an hour and a half later than usual). So, we just stayed at Karena's work until about 9:15 so she could do more work. In fact, we were slightly late for our 9:30 reservation because she was working.
By the time the meal was done and we were walking out, David Letterman was on the TV at the bar. There was only one other couple left in the restaurant. And our car was parked all by its lonesome. Thank God we didn't have to work today.

Sounds like quite a meal. Maybe I'll "celebrate" there after the baseball season...

I've tried to label who is deserving of the title of Dessert Queen: The Baroness, The Danette, or Debbie

I think the Baroness is gaining some votes.

Hmm...sounds like it's romantic?
