SPORTS TALK
1. My prediction: The Patriots will be the Super Bowl champs again.
2. We were talking about last year's Super Bowl. Nobody could remember who played the Patriots, who sang the National Anthem, what one single Super Bowl commercial was, or where it was held. But everybody remembered what happened at halftime.
3. The word on the street is that USC offense coordinator Norm Chow is headed to the NFL's Tenessee Titans since USC head coach Pete Carroll can't stand all the credit Chow gets for their back-to-back national championships. I hope Norm Chow leaves because I'm tired of people keeping the "yellow man" down! Besides, this will spell the demise of USC football, much like the Shaq and Kobe fight killed the Lakers..... and somewhere, Matt Leinert is kicking himself, wondering why he didn't declare himself eligible for the NFL draft.
