DRIVING
We headed out to Hollywood Park early Sunday morning to attend GM's "Auto Show In Motion." In addition to having GM cars, they also had some comparable competitor cars. While we were there, we got to testdrive 9 cars around different pre-set tracks (including a huge dirt hill for the Hummer H2).
Here's what we thought:
Cadillac CTS: the worst car we drove. The ride is too bumpy and gave Karena a headache.
Cadillac Escalade: Better, but not by much.
BMW X5: Very smooth
BMW 325: the best car we drove. Good handling, nice ride.
Lexus GX470: A very nice car, but not as smooth as the X5.
Saab 9-3 Convertible: surprisingly the car we liked second best overall
Acura TSX: stay away from this car ... far away!
Chevy Corvette: wow is that car fast!
Hummer H2: it can definitely handle at least a 30 deg. dirt incline and decline, but we didn't get to drive it much.

And the best part? All of that driving, plus visiting a VERY nice Kohler port-a-pottie that looked and felt like a normal bathroom, and a chicken sandwich lunch all for FREE!!! And I sat through a 5-minute OnStar presentation and got a free visor!
Comments:
Test drive 9 cars??? Oh I gotta take Cindy this next time this comes around. And what was wrong with the Acura? Were you just too tall?

It's incredibly ironic that you go to a free GM event but hate their car.
