WE'RE BACK!
Cabo San Lucas was so much fun. I really didnt' have time to prepare for it at all since we were so busy beforehand and suddenly the day had arrived for us to go. But it turned to be the perfect time for a get-away from life.
Here are some quick highlights (with probably more to follow):
(1) The first thing we did once we got there? We walked 2 miles to Costco and loaded up.
(2) We spent about 3 hours hanging out with Christan Slater while driving around ATVs through the Cabo desert. He is really down-to-earth and very friendly. Plus, he forgot his camera so he asked me to talk some pictures of him and his friends and send it to his email.
(3) Parasailing looks fun, but I enjoy just sitting on the speed boat better.
(4) I was dreading saying "no guacamole please" too many times during the trip, but in the end, I didn't even have to say it once.
(5) We went to two time share presentations and got a TON of free stuff, even though we didn't buy. Some freebies included a one hour massage on the beach for Karena, free transportation to and from the airport, a sunset cruise (drinks included), four free dinners, and two free breakfasts. It was great!
(6) ATVs are a lot of fun, but I tried to be chinese about it and didn't fork over the $10 for the insurance. So while the other people in our group were riding all over the place and doing jumps (including Christian Slater), we were just sticking to driving moderately fast and doing some hills. Next time, I'm forking over the $10.
