FIRE
As we drove from Glendale eastward for church and even further eastward to visit my grandfather at the hospital, it just got worse and worse.
It got darker, more murky.
Ash was falling all over us. It was all over my car like a guy with bad dandruff. And it was even more noticeable on the cars next to me that had been parked there a little longer.
You could smell the smoke. And all you could do was think about the 200+ families who are now homeless and the countless number of people who have been displaced as a result of the fire. And your heart goes out to these people and to the firefighters who are risking life and limb to contain these devastating fires.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
