A TRUE ONE-LINER
It's been a few weeks now since I went to Promise Keepers. And yet, one line that a speaker said is still ringing in my ears on a daily basis. He was talking about how exciting it was that in the midst of spiritual warfare, it's so amazing to see 15,000 men gathering in one room just to worship God. He said something to the effect of, "Satan has made one fatal mistake. He should have taken you out before you got here. But now, he's too late. You've made it here to Promise Keepers and God is already doing great things here and changing lives. Today, a wife has her husband back. Today, children have their father back. Today, parents have their son back."
What powerful and moving words.
Since then, I've wanted to say a modified version of it in Koinonia, but haven't had the chance. And honestly, as first, I didn't want to say it because I didn't totally think it would hold up in Koi. But after another night of really feeling the Holy Spirit amongst us, I have to say that I am ready to say it ... and mean it: Satan made a big mistake in not taking all of us Koinonians out before. Now, it's too late for him because we have a deep relationship with Jesus and true fellowship with one another.
Amen.
