PROUD OF THE GUYS
In John 15:13, Jesus says, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." Of course, He was talking about how his love was no only in words, but also in action ... even to the point of death.
I have not seen this carried out more vividly than yesterday by Jason, Aaron, Charles, and Nathan. Now granted, we didn't show our love to the point of death, but we did take ourselves away from a Saturday afternoon to help a friend in need.
Ricky called us a few hours before he needed us all to help him move a very, very heavy pool table out of a U-Haul truck. And even though I'm sure none of us were all that thrilled to get the call, we were all quickly there to help. And we joined together to use some pretty good teamwork to get the job done quickly and efficiently. And when we were done, we demanded nothing in return.
It's nice to have friends.
