I WANT TO KNOW
I have always wanted to know ...
... why some of the places with the best food are those "holes in the wall" or those guys who sell stuff from the carts on the street or those guys by the freeway who sell fruit.
... why the guys who hold up the "I need tickets" signs outside a game or concert don't just hook with the other guy standing three feet from him who has a sign that reads "I have tickets."
... why the word "abbreviation" is such a long word.
... why Norms and 7-Eleven have locks on their doors if they claim to be open 24 hours a day.
... how a guy like Bob Dylan, who does not sing a single word that anybody can understand, becomes such a big and legendary rock star.
... why people are having such a "hissy fit" about the words "under God" being in the Pledge of Allegiance when all of our currency says "In God we trust". Hmm ... maybe these people should just consider giving all their money away as a sign of solidarity.
